Where to dance Salsa, Bachata or Brazilian Zouk in Sydney | Guide to social dancing (2025)

Social dancing is one of my favourite past times, both in Sydney and whilst travelling - it’s an amazing way to connect with a community anywhere in the world, even when you don’t speak the same language!

As a social dancer myself, I’ve danced in places like Barcelona, London and Singapore - but each time I’ve struggled to find out about local latin dance socials unless I’m connected with someone in the scene.

I’ve put together this guide on where to dance salsa, bachata and Brazilian zouk in Sydney - so whether you’re visiting Sydney, have just moved here or you’re starting out on your latin dancing journey, you can spend less time searching for events and more time social dancing! 💃
